wow. do you have a darkroom set up in your house?

No darkroom - I can't be bothered with processing film anymore! These were taken in my studio, though.

well they are awesome. do you develop your own pictures?

I'm almost all digital these days - unless the client needs and is willing to pay (alot more) for film. Even then, I drop it off at a lab - I'd rather be shooting, than playing with chemicals!

I like the second one.

What do you use for your black backdrop? I don't remember was that just a sheet? Not all black materials absorb light the same way and I want one that's really going to envelope it and not reflect.

You're right about the materials - I was reluctant to buy it, but this $12 kingsize black sheet from Walmart has worked out just fine.

I might have a source of some better material soon so I may be upgrading... Actually, if I'm able to get some, that will mean a bunch is available - I'll let you know, maybe I can grab some for you as well!

That would be cool! I was trying to figure out what is good to use. Velvet I think is the best but expensive. I was wondering about brushed/sueded cotton. There's a place right be me I was thinking of checking but then I was wondering about the Garment District. Do you ever check online? I remember Joann Fabrics seemed to have pretty good prices.
