Come see my friend Julian!

The German-born photographer and writer Julian Voloj explores aspects of identity and heritage in his work. His latest project is a re-discovery of the (nearly) forgotten Jewish heritage in New York City for which he explores neighborhoods such as the South Bronx, Brownsville or Harlem - places that were once home to vibrant Jewish communities.

This Sunday Julian presents part of his work at the Orensanz Foundation, 172 Norfolk Street between Stanton and Houston Streets, 3.30 to 5pm, suggested fee $5.
