I've long since given up on printing at home. I've been using Fotki for prints for a while, and I've been happy with the results, particularly at large sizes. However, the shipping and waiting are a real down side to ordering online. So I was interested when I saw that Walgreens is now allowing customers to upload, order prints and pick up a the store nearest them. I have a Walgreens about 1/2 a mile away, so I figured its worth a shot. Great quality, and they email you to tell you when they are ready. Mine took 20 minutes. Pricing is good for 4x6, although large sizes are much more expensive than elsewhere. If you just need proofs or small prints I recommend it!

wow, 20 minutes, eh?

i used to always order from snapfish. but the shipping really got to me. so the last time i ordered, i tried wal-mart. it took several days. and it took forever for my pictures to upload online.

Yeah, I was surprised how fast! The upload was reasonably quick - I did 10 photos, 3-4 megs each in about 15 minutes.

FYI
If they haven't made the switch yet, they are going to change from Fuji to Kodak. I haven't been in a Walgreens in a long time, but have been reading about the Kodak/Fuji battle.
