"Don't worry... That can only improve a Holga..." says the guy walking past me as I pick up the pieces of my less-than-24-hour-old Holga up off the crosswalk at Bleeker and Christopher St. The camera chose exactly the right moment - as I was juggling my umbrella, coffee, and backpack - to jump out of my coat pocket into on-coming traffic. Plastic, film and batteries flying everywhere... My medium format photography experiment isn't off to such a hot start...

ah... its no big deal. More embarrassing and annyoing than anything, really. Definitely rent that MF gear - I'd like to see what you come up with! I have almost no MF experience so I'm looking into renting from Adorama to see what I can come up with...

Oh, crap. How much money did you lose in *that* little transaction?

Luckily the Holga is only one step above a disposeable camera, so all in all, it only cost about 25 dollars for film and camera...

if you had to break a medium format on the sidewalk, that'd be the one to break, eh?
