Thanks!

Yes, its from the Top of the Rock. I was very excited when they opened, since its been pretty hard to get a good shot of the city with the Empire State unless you had a helicoptor... I've been up twice already, and its worth every penny. Particularly at night. I'm planning on shooting a series in all different weather conditions and times of year. Probably cost me a fortune, but I don't mind!

Now that's nice. You see? You do good work. It's very hard to make such a shot succeed. You did it.

The Empire State Building really anchors that shot, the perfect focal point.

Thanks... I'm actually not so sure about this one. Its decent, but I'm planning to shoot under a variety of light conditions to get just the right shot. I also want to shoot it wider, so that means either film or the fisheye - or both.

Thanks. I'm happy with the photo, but I'm waiting for just the right weather. Today was nice, but a bit overcast in the afternoon - I want a crystal clear day and I'll head up there and shoot some REALLY nice ones. The top of the Rock is pretty unbelieveable. Not as high as the Empire State, but a better view I think. And, its totally unblocked. There's a glassed in lower section, but the upper part is 100 percent open air... imagine if the Empire State was like that!
