I'm loving the full frame!

My wide angle lenses are finally wide again!

Spectacular, I'm so glad I own the camera that took that photo :) Such stunning colours and details.

wow what kind of lens is that?

is it just me or is it a little too blue?

Its a lot too blue! The light here stinks today so I just played with the saturation some. This was just a quick snap anyway, and really just to demonstrate the perspective I can now get with the 5D.

Lens? Canon 20mm f/2.8 - its a good wide prime and pretty affordable. About 400 bucks I think.

sick. i hope my school gets some of those cameras for us next year.

i'm not too into digital photography but i'm trying to get into it. i just took out a 10D with a 17-40mm lens from my school. it's pretty wide.

I think the wide end of the 17-40 would be close to the 20mm on a full frame camera... what you should really do is take that 17-40 and put it on your film body - then you'll see something wide!

It is nice, but I hated that I was more or less forced to buy a new camera ahead of schedule. Luckily though, I did get an email from Canon saying they'd repair one of my 10Ds for free, so that's saving me some money!

camera breakdowns are always bad. don't even get me started on canon and the trouble i had with them...

i'm glad they are repairing one of your 10Ds, though. can't wait to see more shots with the 5D.

Canon has actually been pretty good to me... although I've got a pretty long list of repairs with them so I don't know if that highlights my stupidity or thier generosity... either way, I'm glad they're fixing that one, and hoping they'll do the other one too. Or at least cheap enough so I can sell it!

I can't wait to pick up my fisheye. Be prepared for a flood of shots from that once I get going!
