Suggestions and ideas needed!

I'm shooting a series for the "Diversity of Devotion" project, sponsored by PositiveFocus. I need help with Religious, spiritual ideas/concepts/locations/events that I can shoot in NYC this week. Must be in the 5 boros. I've got some basics covered, but I'm looking for unique ideas - can anyone help?

thanks!

Our "Diversity of Devotion" project aims to encourage the photographic documentation of New York's unique communities of worship. Local and visiting photographers are invited to use this documentary event to explore the diverse religious and spiritual communities that co-exist within our city. We need your help to foster a dialogue within our religious and spiritual communities, while you capture the essence of belief, faith, hope and spirit as still images. We are looking for a range of images expressing how people of different religions interact as well as what goes on inside our many centers. Through local and anticipated traveling exhibitions, we hope to facilitate an expanding community awareness, education and interaction.

My own personal choice, obvious and I'm sure not new to you, would be someone praying in a Catholic church. I think that would be the classic image of Christianity.

Of course I recognize there are many religions in New York City. I would just take pictures of persons practicing their various religions.

For slightly more unique photos, what about someone praying silently over a rosary outside? Or meditating during their break?

Sorry I can't be of more help with NYC in particular!
