So, the second hard drive on this machine died this morning, taking with it all my email and work for the past 6 months. I could have sworn I'd backed up more recently, but apparently not. Ugggh.
Although I was thinking about a new machine sometime in the next 6 months or so, I wasn't prepared to wake up and spend 3,500 today - new 24" imac with 4 gigs/ram, terabyte hd. Thankfully B+H offers "bill me later" so I'll have 6 months to gather the cash... I guess my DsMkIII purchase is significantly delayed as well. Its always something!
