that's awesome, I like the clouds.

I was reading your fotki page, and I think that all of your images are amazing, man!

What kind of cameras do you use?

Kind of cameras...
Oh...

That depends. I prefer to shoot with my Canon EOS 10D, but when hiking or when I need something small, I use a Canon S110. My main film body is an EOS 1N, but I have a couple of other full manual bodies from a couple other companies too...

Glad you liked the photos!

That's awesome.

I'm buying a 10D in about 2 weeks, I'm hoping it's as good as I'm hoping for it to be, but I'm actually alot more at ease because of your photos.

At the moment, I have a digital PowerShot A70, a film AE-1, A-1 and an older EOS1.

I want to grab the grip for the 10D as well.

Oh, yeah, I added you to my friends list, if you don't mind. (I'm that guy who runs bergencounty

I'm really glad you like my work so much!

Although I would never suggest NOT buying the 10D, you really should make sure its the camera for you... if you take some time and check out the forums at http://www.dpreview.com/forums/forum.asp?forum=1019 you will be able to make the best decision possible. You will find a quite a bit of negative info there, but keep in mind that only those who have problems complain... those who love thier gear don't usually post... also check out the dpreview.com canon lens forum. Lots of info there... Any ideas what you might buy?

Re: Kind of cameras...
Well..

if you mean lense wise, I have a few older Canon lenses, I haven't had much money to buy any updated ones, but if I were to at the time I get the 10D, I'd get a superwide, most likely the Canon Super Wide Angle EF 14mm f/2.8L USM Autofocus Lens, because I'm always fascinated with wide-angle photos with alot of area. But, seeing as I'm not too farmiliar with EVERYTHING in the photography world yet, (terms, etc) I'm not sure how much I want to spend.

or, if you meant body wise, I was looking at the EOS-1dS, BEFORE I realized it was $7,999, then I immediately switched to looking at the new Nikon d2h and the 10D, and EOS-1d. But I've pretty much got my heart set on the 10D, because it's practical for me. And thanks for the forum link also, I've read alot about it so far, but I'm definetly going to check this out.

A friend of mine who got the EOS-1d, complained via an AIM conversation (he lives in Canada, and I like in Jersey), that his mirror locked up somehow when he tried to take a big "burst" of photos, so I think after all the research I've done on the 10D probably is going to keep me with it. (My AIM is 'a lovely colour', if you've even got AIM, haha.)
