JEALOUS! I have a decent Loupe but no lightbox yet. What do you use, how big, what did it cost, where'd you get it?

dying to know.

Question and answers...
By "what do you use?" I assume you mean what camera/lens, right? I use my Canon EOS 1N for film and a variety of lenses.... I really only use film these days if a client wants it. Digital is so much more convenient!

The light box is one I got from B&H (http://bhphotovideo.com/) Its a PortaTrace,10x12 inches and cost about 35 dollars....

Actually I was curious about the lightbox and loupe in particular - I should have been more clear (no pun intended). What do you use for Digital?

I've got all Pentax gear but I'm hesitant to get the *ist-d, just because Canon and Nikon seem to have superior products.

Not that I have the money to do that at this point anyway.

I didn't know you were a photographer by trade. I want to do that. Seriously. Really bad. Not sure how to break in though, and abandoning my current career seems kinda risky.

Hmmm... I'm I pretty big Canon fan, so my opinon would be pretty biased... I'm sure Pentax makes decent stuff... I've still got my K1000... although I haven't used it since 9/11/01...

Yeah, I'd never suggest trying to make a career move in photo on a full time basis... actually, I don't know anyone who JUST does photography... you've got to have a reliable source of income!
