Your pictures are absolutely beautiful! You're so lucky you got such a crystal clear day. The day I went up to Mt. Rainier, it started to get progressively foggy. Needless to say...not a great picture day.

Thanks for sharing yours. It sure looks like you had a great time. Where else did you go while you were there?

Yes... we consider ourselves VERY, VERY lucky! We were there for 4 days and it was crystal clear the whole time. We did get some clouds rolling in while we were up on the glacier, which was worried us a bit... its SO easy to get lost when you can't see! The GPS helped though... overall, it was great. The only other place we went while out west was Seattle, which really didn't do too much for me... I'll stick with NYC if I need to visit a city....

Seattle is a great city....had a fun time there. We did the WA/OR trip and also visited up with Mt. St. Helens which was really an experience. Did some whitewater rafting down the Dechutes River and even stayed at the Lodge at the base of Mt. Hood where they filmed "The Shining." Next month...off to Alaska. I should have some great pics to share from that adventure.

Sounds like a fun trip! I look forward to seeing your Alaska photos... where are you going? Coastal or inland?

Starting in Anchorage and heading to Denali, then ... some rafting, sightseeing, float plane rides, glaciers, ferry rides, wildlife tours, yeah, need to do more itinerary planning, but I'll have my camera for sure! I just bought another memory card so I don't run out of space!!
